Mark has been a keen photographer for over 25 years, often framing and matting his own images for exhibition and competition. Mark has won numerous national and international awards for his photography including Ipswich Art Awards, BHP Waltzing Matilda Photographic Competition, Bentley Show and selected numerous times in the Caldera Art Awards. In 2012 Mark held a very successful exhibition of his infrared photography at the Tweed Regional Gallery.
Recently Mark has been experimenting with other art mediums in an effort to combine photography and his growing interest in art. This culminated in winning 1st Prize for Multi Media at the 2016 Ocean Shores Art Prize.
Mark also completed an MBA at Southern Cross University in 1999.
Scott started exhibiting in the early nineties while living in inner city of Sydney.
In 1996 moved up to Uki in the northern rivers where he put his visual arts on hold whilst immersing himself in the art of song writing and performance, playing and recording both locally and in Sydney.
After 6 years moved to the village of Drake west of Casino where he initiated the Big Time Gallery and recommenced painting and exhibiting.
In 2008 landed employment at Ballina Art & Framing and relocated to Bangalow and currently lives on his rural property in Drake where he paints and works with mother nature.
